Перспективы применения автоматизированного анализа ультразвуковых изображений для оценки динамики саркопении при удаленном медицинском сопровождении

Abstract
The article examines an innovative approach to monitoring sarcopenia and muscle atrophy in the context of the active digital transformation of healthcare and the development of telemedicine technologies.
Special attention is paid to the integration of portable ultrasound imaging (US) systems with automated image analysis algorithms based on artificial intelligence methods for remote monitoring of the morphofunctional state of skeletal muscles. The authors analyze the potential of telemedicine platforms for real-time transmission, storage, and interpretation of ultrasound data, as well as assess their role in improving the accessibility and quality of rehabilitation care.
Comparative data on morphometric parameters of muscle tissue (thickness, echogenicity, cross-sectional area) obtained during a 12-week prospective study involving patients undergoing telerehabilitation are presented. The results demonstrate a high degree of correlation (r = 0.89) between automated ultrasound analysis and standard methods of muscle mass assessment, including clinical scales and instrumental diagnostic techniques.
Additionally, an increase in patient adherence to treatment, improved monitoring of condition dynamics, and the possibility of early detection of adverse changes are noted.
The findings confirm the high clinical significance and перспективность (promising potential) of implementing Tele-US technology in telerehabilitation practice, especially in settings with limited access to specialized medical care, as well as in outpatient and home-based environments.
